AKC Canine Good Citizen
Earn your first title...
The AKC Canine Good Citizen course is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club and is designed to help you and your dog be the best you can be. This course and testing focuses on 10 main skills geared to teach your pup good manners and to teach responsible ownership to their owners.

How It Works:
You and your puppy will attend 6 weeks of AKC Canine Good Citizen classes with our CGC Certified Instructor. At the end of the course our instructor will administer the AKC CGC Test. If your dog passes the test, you will get an application to send to AKC for your CGC Certificate. If your pup has either an AKC Registration Number, Purebred Alternative Listing Number (PAL), or an AKC Canine Partners numner (for mixed breed dogs), your pet is also elligible to earn the official AKC Title in addition to the certificate. The official title is listed on your dogs Title Record and CGC may be listed after their name (ex. Fluffy, CGC).
